Keywords:Hexagonal boron nitride, Single photon source

Hexagonal boron nitride(hBN) defect centers have attracted considerable attention as single-photon source operating at room temperature recently. We have reported dipole orientation analysis of single defect centers in hBN and hybrid devices of hBN defect centers with nano-optical fibers and nano-optical fibers with optical resonators. In the present study, we report that we observed a sharp peak emission spectrum with reduced background when hBN was excited by using a light with a wavelength longer than the emission wavelength.
