Quantum machine learning with quantum neural networks has gathered much attention as one of the promising applications of NISQ processors. In such a computation model, the quantum feature map is considered a vital component. In this talk, we discuss the relation between the property of the quantum feature map and the performance of a quantum machine learning model with an image classification task. In addition, based on our analysis, we present a simple physical system leading to high generalization performance.
