By the illumination of the band-gap light of amorphous chalcogenide (a-Ch) to the metal/ a-Ch bi-layer film, the ions in the metallic layer are doped in to the a-Ch layer, and the phenomenon is called “photo-doping”. Neutron reflectivity (NR) and X-ray reflectivity (XRR) are powerful techniques to clarify the process of the photo-doping. We investigate the effects of annealing of amorphous germanium disulfide film on silver photo-doping into the germanium disulfide by NR and XRR.
