We are developing the non-demolition size measurement of the cross-section of nanostructures with SNOM. To this end, the inverse analysis of near-field light with the Yukawa potential is considered. Presently, we numerically calculated the near-field light associated with the surface plasmon polarization on a Ag-coated nanoslit and clarified the strong correlation between the curvature radius of the slit edge and the peak position of the light intensity profile. The use of the correlation function enables the determination of the curvature radius from the interpeak distance of the light intensity profile obtained by SNOM.
