[17a-A305-8] Enhancement properties of a substrate for remote plasmonic-enhanced
Raman spectroscopy by modifying with chemical treatment
Keywords:Raman scattering, Plasmonics
Raman scattering spectroscopy can visualize various molecular information noninvasively without the need for invasive pretreatment of samples such as staining. However, Raman scattering light is very weak and difficult to detect. In this study, a new enhanced Raman scattering phenomenon (remote plasmonic enhanced Raman scattering), which does not require contact between the metallic nanostructure and the measured molecule, was verified by constructing a structure on a silica column of several tens nm in size, and its plasmonic properties were clarified.
