We have proposed a non-empirical electron dynamics simulation method based on the Vlasov equation applicable to metals and have shown its effectiveness in solid aluminum. While previous reports neglected electron-electron scattering, we now incorporate its effect into the Vlasov equation and investigate how the absorption energy of a thin aluminum film in an intense femtosecond laser field changes with and without the scattering term.
