[17a-PA03-1] Composite of a conductive polymer and the single crystal of metal organic frameworks by electropolymerization
Keywords:conductive polymer, electropolymerization, metal organic frameworks
Polymerization of conductive polymers inside the periodic nanopores of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) is expected to enable control of the orientation and properties of conductive polymers. In this study, we aimed to fabricate composites of conductive polymers and single crystalline MOFs with few grain boundaries by electropolymerization, in which polymer growth can be better controlled inside the MOF single crystals. The MOF single crystals adhered to the substrate used during electropolymerization, suggesting that the conductive polymer was polymerized inside the MOF pores to cause an anchoring effect.
