[17p-A302-8] Optically detected magnetic resonance of spin defects in hexagonal boron nitride

Yuichi Yamazaki1 (1.QST)

Keywords:spin defect, hexagonal boron nitride, Optically detected magnetic resonance

Spin defects such as diamond NV center are currently being researched and developed worldwide because they can be used as quantum sensors that can measure various physical quantities with high sensitivity and spatial resolution. Hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) is known as a two-dimensional wide bandgap material, and recently spin defects have been discovered in hBN. In this presentation, I will introduce our research activities as well as the research trends focusing on the formation method of spin defects in hBN and ODMR evaluation.
