To use diamagnetic forces for actuating a graphene cantilever, a shape of a graphene cantilever bent by applying a magnetic field perpendicular to the surface is considered. The stable equilibrium shape of a graphene cantilever in the presence of a magnetic field is obtained by minimizing the magnetic and bending energies, which are calculated using the tight-binding model and the Tersoff potential, respectively, and the magnetic and size-dependence of the displacement by bending is examined. As a result, it is shown that the strong anisotropy of the magnetic susceptibility significantly impacts on the stable shape of a graphene cantilever.
