Keywords:Multiferroic thin films, perpendicular magnetic anisotropy, Curie temperature

High saturation magnetization, perpendicular magnetic anisotropy, and high Curie temperature are required for ferromagnetic/ferroelectric thin films to apply to highly integrated magnetic devices driven by electric field. To improve the magnetic properties of the BiFeO3-based ferromagnetic/ferroelectric thin films, (Bi,La)(Fe1-yCoy)O3 or (Bi,La)(Fe1-yNiy)O3 films were fabricated. As a result, the high saturation magnetization of 78 emu/cm3 was obtained in (Bi,La)(Fe,Co)O3 with the Co substitution of 25 at%, and high perpendicular magnetic anisotropy and high Curie temperature of more than 475 °C were obtained respectively in (Bi,La)(Fe,Ni)O3 with the Ni substitution of 30 at%.
