Sensor electrodes based on polycrystalline LaF3 have been studied for cost reduction and miniaturization of fluorine ion sensors, and open pores on the electrode surface are considered to reduce sensor performance. In this study, we aimed to improve the sensor performance by filling the open pores of the polycrystalline electrode with PDMS. The XRD analysis results showed that the polycrystalline electrode and PDMS were integrated. Investigation of the sensor performance of the polycrystalline electrode showed that PDMS integration improved the response concentration range and slope of the Nernstian response.
