We newly fabricated a novel microdevice for detection of DNase, enzyme for nonspecific DNA cleavage, which is a candidate biomarker for acute myocardial infarction. Here, we demonstrate that the electrical properties of DNA molecules can be exploited to monitor enzymatic activity.
