[17p-E102-8] Development of dark-field detection method with high-sensitivity using grating-coupled surface plasmon resonance
Keywords:grating-coupled surface plasmon resonance, label-free sensor, dark-field microscopy
Fluorescent immunosensors based on the enhancement of electric field by surface plasmon resonance (SPR) have high sensitivity, however there are difficulties in synthesizing fluorescently labeled antibodies and nonspecific adsorption of fluorescent labeling. In this study, we aim to develop a highly sensitive and label-free sensor that detects scattered light enhanced by grating-coupled SPR without using fluorescent labeling. Experimental results showed that the light scattered by fluorescently labeled nanoparticles with a diameter of 200 nm is enhanced and can be observed with high sensitivity by dark-field microscopy.
