[17p-E402-8] Photovoltaic Conversion Mechanism in Organic Solar Cells

Hideo Ohkita1 (1.Kyoto Univ.)

Keywords:organic solar cells, photovoltaic conversion, spectroscopic measurement

A power conversion efficiency (PCE) of organic solar cells have been improved steadily since Hiramoto et al. demonstrated that charge generation efficiency was improved by introducing a mixed layer of donors and acceptors in the photoactive layer. In 2022, a PCE of 19.6% was reported. For the improvement in PCE, of particular importance is not only to develop new materials and new device structures but also to elucidate the photovoltaic conversion mechanism in organic solar cells. In this talk, I will focus on the photovoltaic conversion mechanism.
