A multi-channel dynamic scan control system was constructed to combine and transmit data generated by multiple simultaneous detectors. (Figure 1). Reconstruction is processed on the local computer in terms of different data segments and packets. There are two kind of packet in our system, ADP(ADC data packet) and SDP(SDD date packet) (Figure 2).
The scanning system collects individual detector data and passes it into associated packets, which are then transmitted over Ethernet after the packets are filled. Data packets are generated randomly, depending on the data output rate of individual detectors.
Each individual piece of data is associated with a time and location tag. This is extremely important for image reconstruction and data analysis. With location labels on each piece of data, we can use this useful location information to reconstruct a 2D image. Through the time label on each data, we can do some frequency domain and time domain analysis. Multi-detector data can be transmitted in the different channel at the same manner, and the computer can synthesize data according to different data packets, which can realize multiplexing and multiple data reconstruction capabilities.
