When scanning probe microscope (SPM) images do not have periodicity, or when analyzing the interaction of nanostructures in complex SPM images, Fourier transform and autocorrelation analysis are not able to analyze their trends. In this study, we have developed a method to analyze the interaction of nanostructures on surfaces that do not have periodicity and, moreover, have complex structures. As a result, we have successfully analyzed for the first time in clarifying the interaction trends of oxygen vacancies on titanium dioxide surfaces.
