Semiconductor lasers in the 1300 nm band are widely used in data centers. The semiconductor lasers used in data centers are used as light sources for optical signals, but they are installed outside the mounting boards. We have developed a prototype quantum dot laser with low degradation of characteristics even at high temperatures, in particular, a coupled quantum dots laser with increased quantum dot density. In this presentation, we report on two types of quantum dots structures with different degrees of coupling and their fluorescence evaluation.
