[18a-D704-5] Modulation of Circular Photogalvanic Effect in Conducting SrTiO3 by Ionic Gating
Keywords:SrTiO3, Circular Photogalvanic Effect, Spin Detection
SrTiO3 (STO) exhibits a variety of interesting physical properties such as superconductivity, ferroelectricity, and semiconductor by impurity doping. It is also known that etching of the surface with argon ions creates oxygen vacancies in the lattice, which leads to a metallic state on the surface. This metallic surface was reported to have Rashba-type spin splitting. In this study, we observed the Rashba-type spin-orbit interaction in conducting STO using Circular Photogalvanic Effect (CPGE), and observed the modulation of the CPGE by applying gate voltage using Ionic Iiquid films.
