Using a potential-detecting array sensor deposited with a gold/titanium multilayer film, the redox state of the electron mediator, which occurs during the two-step enzymatic reaction of sucrose into water, was detected as a change in potential on the gold film surface. First, sucrose crystals were measured by placing them statically in a solution containing the enzyme, and imaging of sucrose diffusion was successfully obtained. Then, when the plant stem was placed statically, a response was observed in the outer frame of the stem, and sucrose in the plant body was successfully detected.
