The fabrication of hydrogel-based electronic devices requires patterning of conductive structures on hydrogels. In this study, conductive structures were patterned on alginate hydrogels by laser-induced graphitization. Black structure was formed along the trajectory of laser scanning. Raman analysis suggested that the formed structure was composed of graphitic carbon.
