△ [18p-A501-5] Freely Controllable Spectral Peak Generation Using 206 MHz All-PM Fiber Laser Comb
Keywords:Optical frequency comb, Fiber laser
The spectral peaking, a new nonlinear phenomenon of optical fiber, can be used to extract and enhance specific comb modes from an optical frequency comb, which is useful for applications such as high-sensitivity measurement. Here, we developed a new all-polarization-maintaining fiber comb with a repetition rate as high as 206 MHz and generated spectral peaks using a spatial light modulator. As a result, a single spectral peak generation at an arbitrary position in the spectrum, and the multiple peaks extracted with a signal background ratio of 30 dB were demonstrated.
