[18p-B409-2] Thermoelectric Properties of Freestanding PEDOT Films with Excellent Mechanical Strength

Freestanding PEDOT films with excellent mechanical strength were prepared by adding ionic liquids (IL) to PEDOT:PSS. The electrical conductivity of the obtained films enhanced by several hundredfold with the addition of IL. The electrical conductivity also changed with the amount of IL added. It was found that these changes were caused by the removal of a part of insulating PSS due to the exchange reaction of dopant anions of PEDOT, and by the increase of the crystalline part in the film.
