△ [18p-E102-11] Evaluation and fabrication of reference electrode-mounted in-vivo pH image sensor for biological experiments on freely-moving mouse
Keywords:Freely moving experiment, Implantable pH image sensor, Reference electrode
In this study, we fabricated and evaluated implantable pH image sensor with a built-in silver chloride electrode that serves as a reference electrode for free-running experiments in mouse, and verified the extracellular pH response in the mouse brain induced by drug stimulation. The evaluation of the fabricated silver chloride electrode showed that its measurement characteristics were almost equivalent to those of existing glass reference electrodes. In the in vivo experiments, we successfully visualized the extracellular pH changes to acidity or alkalinity according to the dose of isoflurane.
