[CS4-04] Improving workshop “the salon” for students and young engineers with experience of local chapters

JSCE Hokkaido Chapter conducts a workshop for students with young engineers since 2013. This FY 2018, the chapter organized a discussion session with six others who hold a similar event and a tour to Kansai Chapter to find more effective coordination. The findings were 1) discussion theme familiar in the region, 2) close relationship with the secretariat and 3) appropriate size of the event. They were implemented in the year 2018 event and gained a high reputation. Thus, the authors conclude that the workshop shall be continued with the reduction of work and financial load.
