[CS5-03] A study of high definitizing method for Adaptive Discontinuous Galerkin method

In this study, the efficiency of high definitizing method for adaptive discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method is discussed on the accuracy and applicability of the method on advection equation.
The adaptive methods based on h-adaptive with refinement and p-adaptive with high-order interpolation function are compared.
In order to check the validity and efficiency of the method, one-dimensional advection problem was carried out.
As the result, the solution obtained by higher-order element can obtain more accurate solution compared with the refinement element at retaining the initial shape of function.
