[CS6-21] Study on progressive damage analysis of FRP composites to include bearing-failure
Keywords:FRP, Progressive damage analysis, Bearing failure
In FEA of FRP structures, progressive damage analysis can reproduce inelastic behavior. Previous study have applied progressive damage analysis to the bolted joints of FRP, but it is not possible to take into account the increase of bearing endurance caused by bolt tightening. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed bolted joints using a progressive damage material that can consider the increase in bearing endurance due to bolt tightening. As a result, by using the material, the increase of bearing endurance can be taken into consideration, and the ultimate limit condition can be reproduced.
