[I-114] Examination about load transmission of a plate repair part where a corrosion damaged part is applied

One of the methods for repairing corrosion damage in steel structures is repair of base plates using high strength bolts. However, there are many points that have not been clarified about the load transfer mechanism of the repair plate. In this study, we investigated analytically the influence of the depth of the base metal corrosion damage on the load transfer of the repair part. As the corrosion rate increases, it has been confirmed that the base metal shares more load regardless of the load sharing rate assumed from the cross-sectional area rate.
