Nonmetallic abrasive materials are generally used for blasting treatment. However, for the repeat used blast abrasives, the influence of their grain size distributions on the surface texture of steel substrate still has not been clarified clearly. This research focused on the melted alumina as a conventional blasting abrasive materials, and investigated the relation between the repeated use of abrasives and the particle size distribution.
