In the Tokai region, since the probability of occurrence of Tokai, Tonankai and Nankai earthquakes is extremely high in the next 30 years, ensuring reliability in the event of a disaster is an important issue. However, since the design standards of the steel cable-stayed girder bridges already in service are old, it is assumed that there are many cases where it is difficult to reinforce the members, so it is important how to set the limit state of each member I think that it is an issue, and report on the result of preliminary examination.
