[II-68] Long-term fluctuation characteristics of sea level in Shimoda Port and surrounding sea areas
Keywords:internal tide, water temperature, zero-up-cross method, Kuroshio, GNSS station, sea level
The sea surface variations with periods of 6 to 12 hours develop in autumn in Shimoda Port and surrounding sea areas. In 2018, due to the Kuroshio large meander, the amplitude was larger in Irozaki and Omaezaki compared to other years. Ground change correction was performed using GNSS stations for the analysis of long-term sea level change. The corrected result is very different from the case without correction. Almost the same trend of sea level rising was observed in the areas, and the trend showed a good agreement with rising trend of water temperature.
