Coal ash granular material is manufactured by adding water, cement, slaked lime, etc. to coal ash co-produced at a coal-fired power plant. Coal ash granular material is lightweight and has high water absorption. Expanding the use of coal ash granular materials will also save other construction materials, which in turn will contribute to a recycling society. In this study, we aim to expand the use of this material and quantitatively evaluate the applicability of the embankment material.
