[IV-07] Evaluation of visibility of the hanging signage in virtual space assuming a passenger concourse

For 2020, the terminal station in the metropolitan area has guidelines for the systematic improvement of signage. The main research method for signage is walking experiments in real space, but this method can’t consider pedestrian traffic congestion as an evaluation range. In order to consider the issues mentioned above, this study evaluated the visibility of the hanging signage by performing pedestrian traffic simulation in a virtual space. As a result, it was clarified that the hanging sign has high visibility even in the space where pedestrian traffic is crowded.
