RC beam-column joint in a railway viaduct is designed by satisfying reinforcement arrangements. However, the joint would become weak relatively in case the joint size is reduced by using high strength materials. In this study, we conducted cyclic loading test of the T-shaped beam-column joint. As a result, however used SD490, although crack occur in the joint, damage is insignificantly, and deformation performance of the column is equal to calculated value so Influence of damage in the joint on deformation performance of the RC column is small.
