[VI-136] Investigation on abnormal detection of PC steel by magnetic method

The social infrastructures developed intensively in the high economic growth period are aging at the same time, and the improvement of the maintenance and management of the existing infrastructures is an urgent issue. In particular, PC bridges built before the 1990s are concerned about the fracture risk of PC steels due to insufficient grout filling. Therefore, the authors have been conducting research on the detection of anomalies of existing PC steel using magnetic methods. In this study, we report the result of applying this method to a real bridge.
