[VII-160] Study on the effect of fracture information set by in-situ data in terms of mass transport calculation
Keywords:discrete fracture network model, seepage analysis, mass transport time, Radioactive waste
In the safety assessment of geological disposal, it is important to evaluate mass transport time and pathway in the natural barrier system. In fractured rock mass, since fractures dominate the permeability, it is particularly necessary to evaluate the groundwater behavior by taking the fractures into account. We built several DFN(discrete fracture network) models with varying amount of in-situ data at underground gallery at Aspo Hard Rock Laboratory and performed analytical case study. In this paper, comparison of these models in terms of mass transport time are described.
