[VII-87] A study on the decontamination technologies for the removed soil in Fukushima
Keywords:removed soil, volume reduction and reuse, radioactive cesium, wet classification, soil disintegration
Among the removed soils generated in Fukushima, we focus on farmland soils that are grouped together by the action of organic substances such as humic acid. The importance of appropriately de-soiling is shown using the results of basic experiments.
Our goal is not to use chemical treatment or heat treatment which are relatively expensive, but to extend the general civil engineering technology to increase the rate of reclaimed removed soil as much as possible.
