[CS8-02] Durability of Very-Early Strength Latex Modified Concrete with Low Elasticity
Keywords:Very-Early Strength Latex Modified Concrete with Low Elasticity, Upper surface of floor slabs, Concrete pavement on bridges, Durability
Very-Early strength latex modified concrete was studied for the purpose of repair concrete on the upper surface of slubs and also as concrete for paving bridges. The dimensional stability, bond strength, chloride ion penetration resistance, and bond fatigue durability were evaluated as the performance related to the durability when the concrete slab was repaired with this concrete. As a result, all showed high levels of performance. It is thought to be due to the effect of latex modification, the use of special aggregates, and the combined use of epoxy adhesives.
