[CS8-10] Effect of cyclic load on interfacial bond performance of RC beam whose upper surface is replaced with UHPFRC
Keywords:UHPFRC, RC slabs, repair, Replacement of the upper surface, Bending fatigue, Bond strength
in this research, we have developed a method of replacing or increasing the thickness of the RC slab using UHPFRC, which is higher in strength and denser than conventional fiber reinforced concrete. In this paper, we report the results of a bending fatigue test using RC beams whose upper surface has been replaced with UHPFRC in order to understand the effect of the cyclic action of wheel load on the interface bond performance between UHPFRC and existing RC slabs. The test results showed that the bending stiffness and interfacial adhesion performance of the beam did not decrease even after receiving a load equivalent to the wheel load 10 million times.
