This study is focused on grasping characteristics of steel plate under various loadings in biaxial stress state.
The biaxial loading tests using a cruciform specimen and an I-shape sheet specimen are experimental methods which can obtain loading surfaces for grasping elasto-plastic behavior of materials in biaxial stress state. In comparison between experimental results and analysis results, some problems were found, which should be solved for applying to forming simulation of steel pipes.
