The technical standards and explanations for harbor facilities revised in April 2018 adopt a new modeling method that takes into account the strength characteristics of steel pipe members with different diameter ratios. Therefore, effective stress seismic response analysis was performed using a new modeling method for 25 of the most important pier-type and sheet-pile mooring berths with steel pipe members as the main members, and the service feasibility criteria were updated. . This paper compares the new standard with the technical standards of the existing port facilities and the thresholds set by the modeling method in the explanation and analyzes the tendency.
