Evaluate the reproducibility of two-dimensional unsteady flow analysis of river channels and overflows obtained by hydraulic model experiments for the river Kumozu River, which is planned to be constructed as a retarding basin in the river improvement plan The purpose of this study was to consider the possibilities and issues of developing a flood basin plan in consideration of flood risk reduction. If the flood scale is about the expected external force, it is possible to accurately understand the effects of the difference in rainfall patterns and the modification of the overflow levee on the flood control function.
