[II-12] Evaluation of the upstream depth of the submerged flow from sluice gates

In order to give the guideline of the plannings of channls or tributaries which have gate at the downstream end, equation for upstream depth and the dimensionless one have been obtained for submerged sluice gates. The calculated results showed good agreement with experimental data. Also the calculation of the dimensionless upstream depth showed rational tendency from the standing point of hydraulic phenomenon.
