[IV-18] Inundated area extraction using Sentinel-1 SAR data

The floods ware triggered by Typhoon Hagibis that swept across the Japan on October 12, 2019. Therefore, we aim to develop a method to extract inundated area from SAR data. In VV polarization, false positive was found in paddy fields and forests. In VH polarization, the inundation area of the paddy field was clearly extracted. As the results, VV polarization was effective in the urban and VH polarization was effective in the paddy field and forests. In the future work, we will construct a system that can execute this method consistently from pre-processing to inundated area extraction.
