In river construction using anti-washout underwater concrete, it’s often construct in the winter season. Since the setting of anti-washout underwater concrete is slower than ordinary concrete, the period affected by the low temperature until demolding may be about 3 days after casting. However, little is known about the strength development of anti-washout underwater concrete exposed to low temperature environment in the early age. In this study, the effect of initial curing temperature on the strength development of anti-washout underwater concrete, and the results are reported.
