In the survey of the tunnel concrete pavement on the expressway, the cavity was predicted by the vehicle-mounted electromagnetic wave radar. By comparing the results with actual core boring results, it was verified that the electromagnetic wave radar is effective as a cavity survey method. In addition, the situation around the cavity in the pavement will be examined and examples of cautionary points where the cavity is likely to progress will be described.
