The Fukui Kaihotsu Viaduct adopted the first full-precast ramen viaduct to reduce the construction period. The full precasting technology described below precasts (PCa) all ground members of the rigid-frame viaduct, including not only the column and beam members, but also the joints between the two members. In this report (Nos. 1 to 3), we report on the implementation of trial construction and the overall construction based on it, based on the history of adopting the construction method. (Part 1) describes the outline of the project and the process of selecting the construction method.
