東京メトロ日比谷線虎ノ門ヒルズ駅は，地域に求められる「生活環境を備えた国際的なビジネス・交流拠点の整備」および「交通結節機能の強化」の実現に向け，独立行政法人都市再生機構が事業主体となり，東京地下鉄株式会社が工事等を受託し，整備を進めている．本稿では，日比谷線霞ケ関～神谷町間約1.3kmの中間に整備する新駅の着工から開業に至るまでの工事概要について記述する．
