Keywords:Post installed adhesive anchor, PC steel bar, tapered nut, cost

When installing a bridge prevention device for a bridge, it is common practice to use an adhesive anchor that is screwed into a deformed reinforcing bar and fill it with epoxy resin . When using high-strength anchor bars, the diameter must be increased, and the hole diameter and hole length increased. Therefore, the construction cost tends to increase. The proposed anchor with a tapered nut with a high-strength PC steel bar, which can reduce the diameter of hole and shorten the hole length compared to the conventional method . Therefore, we considered the application of the proposed method to a bridge prevention device for the purpose of cost reduction.
