[VI-567] Corrosion diagnostic method at the ground-buried position of lighting poles and traffic signposts by Nondestructive Inspection Technologies (Proposal for corrosion diagnostic method)

When investigating the corrosion state of the posts, it is necessary to excavate the load and expose at the round-buried position. However, excavation requires a lot of labor and time. In addition, since the criterion for determining whether to excavate is ambiguous, there is a possibility that the corrosion site may be missed. Therefore, the efficiency of the excavation corrosion diagnosis can be improved and assured by selecting the excavation site by nondestructive inspection technologies. In this report, we proposed a corrosion diagnostic method using the COLOPAT SCAN technology, which is a non-destructive inspection technique, and showed that the use of this method can reduce the survey cost.
