We propose an Eulerian finite volume formulation for structure-fluid interaction problems with the discontinuous velocity and density field around the structure-fluid interface. Spatially-averaged equation of motion and the fifth-order WENO scheme is applied to compute the discontinuous velocity and density field around the structure-fluid interface without numerical instability.
